About the Role
As a Hospice Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing and reassessing the nursing needs of hospice patients, providing dietary counseling, and delivering nursing services and treatments. You will also supervise and train other nursing personnel, develop care plans, and ensure compliance with hospice policies and HIPAA regulations.
About You
Required:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Currently licensed as a registered nurse to practice in the state of Indiana.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered nurse.
- Ability to work independently and make accurate judgments.
Preferred:
- Active patient contact within the past three years.
- Experience in hospice care.
- Ability to supervise others appropriately.
- Acceptance of and adaptability to different social, racial, cultural, and religious modes.
