About the Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing safe and excellent delivery of individualized patient care based on evidence-based research and nursing standards. Your daily tasks will include ongoing communication with patients and healthcare teams, medication administration using advanced technologies, electronic documentation of patient assessments and care plans, patient education, and multi-disciplinary discharging of patients to ensure safe transitions in care.
About You
Required:
- Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license.
- BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
- ACLS certification.
- Minimum of 6 months of nursing experience or active participation in the Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency program.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs.
Preferred:
- Telemetry experience.
- BSN in progress and/or willingness to acquire within three years of hire.
