Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse - Operating Room for a full-time position in Brick, NJ. The role involves delivering high-quality nursing care in the operating room setting.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, you will be responsible for providing individualized patient care based on the latest evidence-based practices. Your daily tasks will include communicating with patients and healthcare teams, administering medications safely, documenting patient assessments and care plans electronically, educating patients and families, and ensuring safe transitions of care during discharges.
About You
Required:
- Current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license.
- BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association.
- Six (6) or more months of acute care RN experience or participation in the HMH new grad nurse residency program.
- BSN in progress or willingness to acquire within three (3) years of hire.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs.
Preferred:
- ACLS certification.
- CNOR certification.
- Two (2) years of OR experience.
