About the Role
As a Registered Nurse at Hackensack Meridian Health, you will be responsible for providing safe and excellent patient care based on evidence-based practices. Your daily tasks will include ongoing communication with patients and healthcare teams, medication administration using advanced technologies, electronic documentation of patient assessments, and patient education focused on health and wellness. You will also participate in multi-disciplinary discharges to ensure safe transitions of care.
About You
Required:
- Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license.
- BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
- Minimum of 6 months of nursing experience or active participation in the Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency program.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs.
Preferred:
- ACLS, NIH certification.
- Experience in Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and/or oncology.
- BSN in progress or willingness to acquire within three years of hire.
- Willingness to attend training to become chemotherapy competent within six months of hire.
