Summary
JASA is seeking a Registered Nurse for Brooklyn Case Management to provide care and services according to nursing standards and ethics.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing client needs, developing and implementing care plans, supervising ancillary staff, and providing education to clients and families. You will also ensure compliance with agency policies and participate in performance improvement programs.
About You
Required:
- Current license and registration to practice as a Registered Nurse in New York State.
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience, with 1 year of Home Care preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Preferred:
- Graduate of an NLN accredited School of Nursing.
- Knowledge of New York State Dept of Health regulations for Licensed Home Care Service Agencies.
- Computer literate with the ability to learn and use program-specific software.
