About the Role
As a Registered Nurse Behavioral Intake PRN, you will be responsible for assessing patient conditions during admission and shifts, identifying safety risks, managing pain, and reporting signs of abuse or neglect. You will perform medical procedures as ordered, document care in patient records, administer medications, and educate patients and families about medical conditions and treatment plans.
About You
Required:
- Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing required.
- Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required.
- BLS-AHA Provider issued card required within 30 days of start.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification required.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
- 1-3 years’ experience in a behavioral healthcare setting performing clinical assessments.
