About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will provide nursing care, perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, administer medications, and lead nursing staff. You will also participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain a safe environment while ensuring patient advocacy and confidentiality.
About You
Required:
- Associate Degree in nursing from an accredited program.
- Unrestricted Registered Nurse license valid to practice in North Carolina.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications within 6 months of hire.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) within a year of hire.
Preferred:
- Graduated from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.
- Critical care experience.
- Proficiency rated at 1 year for an RN with one-year clinical nursing experience.
