About the Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, guiding patient/family teaching, and overseeing the activities of other nursing personnel. You will communicate with physicians regarding changes in patients' clinical conditions and ensure compliance with EMTALA regulations. The position requires quick and accurate responses to changes in patient conditions while maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.
About You
Required:
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS certificate within 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC within 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
- Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting; E.R. setting preferred.
Preferred:
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN).
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
