About the Role
As a Labor & Delivery Nurse, you will work in a team-oriented environment, providing clinical care to mothers and newborns. Your responsibilities will include managing labor and delivery processes, ensuring patient safety, and following evidence-based protocols to achieve the best outcomes. You will also be expected to take shifts in both the Boise and Nampa Family Maternity Units as needed.
About You
Required:
- Must have an RN license in the state of Idaho prior to hire date.
- Prior nursing experience desired, preferably in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP).
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification.
- ACLS and NRP required or obtained within six months of hire date.
- PALS, STABLE and NCC-EFM certifications required or obtained within one year of hire date.
Preferred:
- Experience in a maternity care setting.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
