About the Role
As a Registered Nurse Lactation Consultant PRN, you will be responsible for promoting breastfeeding, performing assessments of patients' lactation goals, taking patient histories, conducting breast and feeding evaluations, developing treatment plans, and making appropriate referrals. You will work in both inpatient and outpatient settings, utilizing evidence-based care management to facilitate change within clinical settings.
About You
Required:
- Neonate Resuscitate certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Associate Degree in nursing or related field.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or CPR certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
Preferred:
- Experience in lactation consulting or maternal-child health.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
