- Current licensure to practice nursing in Ohio.
- BLS certification prior to patient contact.
- Ability to provide age and culturally specific patient care.
- Membership in professional organizations.
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire in step-down and ICU areas.
- Certification in area of clinical specialty within five years of eligibility.
