About the Role
As a Registered Nurse (Night Shift), you will be responsible for rendering general and specialized nursing care to inmate patients, administering medications, performing assessments, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. You will also provide first aid, maintain medical records, and collaborate with medical facilities for referrals when necessary.
About You
Required:
- Associates Degree in Nursing or related field from an accredited college or university.
- Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida.
- Must possess and maintain hands-on, in-person CPR Certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
Preferred:
- Experience in a correctional facility or similar environment.
- Knowledge of applicable medical treatments and common medications administered within a corrections facility.
