About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical Inpatient Unit, you will be responsible for ensuring a clean and therapeutic environment, assisting with patient admissions, making initial assessments, monitoring patient conditions, and documenting care accurately. You will also educate patients and families, implement doctor's orders, and collaborate with clinical staff to meet care needs.
About You
Required:
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing or related field.
- Registered Nurse in the State of Texas; License must remain active and unencumbered while employed.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- One (1) year of experience in a peri-operative and inpatient environment.
Preferred:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations.
- Excellent communication skills and polished patient interaction skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software applications.
