About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, you will be responsible for delivering safe and effective nursing care, administering medications, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, applying critical thinking to assess patient conditions, educating patients and families, adhering to safety protocols, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
About You
Required:
- Associate’s degree in Nursing (ASN) or Nursing Diploma.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Florida or endorsement.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) Healthcare Provider Completion Card prior to start date and maintained.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in EMR systems and patient documentation.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
- One (1) year or more of acute care or specialty setting experience.
- National certification in specialty area (e.g., CCRN, CMSRN, CEN).
