About the Role
As a Registered Nurse PACU II, you will be responsible for assessing patient status throughout the episode of care, developing individualized perianesthesia plans, and providing accurate hand-off reports to teammates. You will also perform other duties as assigned in a fast-paced surgical environment.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
- Current state licensure to practice within good standings.
- Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 90 days of employment.
- Successful completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Course within 90 days of employment.
- Successful completion of Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course within 90 days of employment if pediatric care is included.
Preferred:
- One year of PACU experience.
- Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing or Perianesthesia.
