About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. You will provide direct patient care, guide nursing personnel, and communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient conditions. You must respond quickly to changes in patient status and maintain compliance with EMTALA regulations.
About You
Required:
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS certificate within 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC within 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
- Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting.
Preferred:
- Experience in an Emergency Room setting.
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN).
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
