About the Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for directing and monitoring the work of LPNs and nursing assistants, providing direct care to residents, and ensuring compliance with nursing standards and regulations. You will also assist in training new staff and communicate regularly with the Director of Nursing regarding resident care and staff performance.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State.
- One year nursing experience necessary.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal, English).
- Compassion for senior adults and the disabled.
Preferred:
- Skill in assessing problems and planning solutions.
- Understanding, patience, and tact in dealing with people.
- Availability to work beyond normal hours and on weekends or holidays.
