About the Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for preparing patients and procedure rooms for radiology procedures, explaining procedures to patients, ensuring compliance with policies, and supporting quality patient care. You will also maintain accurate medical records, manage supplies, assist with hazardous waste disposal, collaborate with physicians, administer moderate sedation, and conduct pre-op and follow-up calls.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid Registered Nurse license to practice in this state.
- BLS certification, ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Proven working experience with moderate sedation.
- Proficient in the use of computers and related software such as Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
- Strong IV insertion skills.
