About the Role
As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with pulmonary disorders, perform cardiopulmonary evaluations, administer medical gases and mechanical ventilation support, and oversee the clinical performance of Certified Respiratory Care Technicians. You will also participate in emergency and trauma codes, manage patients on life support systems, and ensure compliance with department policies and procedures.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Care program.
- Associate degree.
- NJ Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
- NJ Registered Respiratory Therapist Certificate.
- AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
Preferred:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification.
