About the Role
As a Regulatory and Compliance Engineer Supervisor, you will oversee statewide inspection and compliance monitoring activities at wastewater treatment facilities. Your responsibilities will include managing staff, planning operations, and ensuring adherence to state and federal environmental regulations. The position may require fieldwork in various environmental conditions and handling hazardous materials, necessitating the use of protective equipment.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture from an accredited college or university.
- Four years of engineering or architectural experience in pollution control, waste remediation, resource conservation, environmental protection, or public health and safety.
Preferred:
- Prior experience supervising technical and administrative personnel.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Technical experience applying State and federal laws and regulations.
- Experience with administrative, civil, and criminal legal processes.
- Experience with EPA databases such as ICIS, ECHO, NetDMR, and MDE's ETS database.
