About the Role
As a Regulatory and Permitting Compliance Specialist, you will support compliance with environmental requirements for high-speed rail (HSR) in active construction areas. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and preparing environmental compliance reports, evaluating environmental documents and permits, conducting inspections, and coordinating with various teams to ensure compliance with environmental commitments.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, biology, or related field and 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- Experience implementing compliance programs and monitoring environmental compliance on large construction projects.
- Familiarity with state and federal environmental laws and regulations.
Preferred:
- Experience with design-build contracting and construction processes.
- Graduate degree in biology, environmental science, civil/environmental engineering, or related science.
