About You
Required:
- Doctoral candidates in the latter stages of their program or applicants with a doctorate in a relevant field.
- Strong interest in nursing regulation and policy.
Preferred:
- Experience in nursing education or regulatory environments.
- Previous involvement in research related to nursing practice or policy.
Benefits
- Stipend of $8,000 for the eight-week program, paid in semi-monthly increments of $2,000.
- Additional $3,000 relocation/housing allowance for individuals residing outside of Illinois.
National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN)
The purpose of NCSBN is to provide an organization through which boards of nursing act and counsel together on matters of common interest and concern affecting the public health, safety and welfare, including the development of licensing examinations in nursing. NCSBN's programs and services include developing the NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-PN examinations, performing policy analysis and promoting uniformity in relationship to the regulation of nursing practice, disseminating data related to the licensure of nurses, conducting research pertinent to NCSBN's purpose, and serving as a forum for information exchange for members.
