PromptCare is seeking a Reimbursement Specialist to join their AR Infusion team in New Providence, NJ. The role involves managing patient billing and collections, ensuring compliance with insurance data collection and authorization processes.
About the Role
As a Reimbursement Specialist, you will be responsible for all aspects of patient billing and collections, including electronic claims submission and medical collections. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring proper follow-up on revenue cycle processes, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with other departments to resolve billing issues. Your role is critical in supporting the intake team and ensuring timely collections while adhering to company policies.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of insurance plans including Medicare and Medicaid.
Preferred:
- 2-3 years of experience in electronic claims submission and medical collections.
- Industry experience with billing/collections in DME, home infusion and/or enteral.
- Accounts receivable and accounting experience.
- Knowledge of CPR+ and/or Caretend software.
