About the Role
As a Reliability & Failure Analysis Lab Support Intern, you will contribute to updates of FA and Reliability Lab capability matrices, develop structured Excel-based metrology templates, support ISO/IEC 17025:2017 quality system activities, assist in authoring laboratory procedures, and operate materials characterization equipment. You will also execute materials characterization tasks, participate in calibration and preventive maintenance activities, and benchmark internal service costs.
About You
Required:
- Currently enrolled Junior/Senior student pursuing BS degree in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Engineering/Business Management.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on data handling and template creation in Excel.
- Effective technical communication skills for reporting, documentation, and cross-functional interaction.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision in a laboratory environment.
- Demonstrated hands-on aptitude with tools, fixtures, and analytical equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to context-switch across multiple technical tasks.
Preferred:
- Experience with advanced materials analysis instrumentation and metrology tools.
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 quality system activities.
