Summary
Georgia-Pacific LLC is seeking a Reliability Supervisor to lead their maintenance team at the Mogadore (Akron), OH Corrugated Bulk Packaging facility. This role is critical for enhancing equipment uptime and asset reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
About the Role
As a Reliability Supervisor, you will lead a multi-skilled maintenance team, ensuring safe work practices and driving improvements in preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance. You will partner with Operations to enhance line efficiency, coach and mentor team members, and promote a strong safety culture. The role requires flexibility in scheduling to support operational needs and involves using CMMS and digital tools for managing maintenance activities.
About You
Required:
- Experience working in an industrial, manufacturing, production, or military environment.
- Working knowledge of CMMS or similar tools to plan, schedule, and manage maintenance activities.
- Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills applicable to planning and executing maintenance activities.
Preferred:
- Experience in preventive/predictive maintenance and familiarity with industrial control systems (PLCs, drives, motors, instrumentation, or automation).
- Proven ability to lead skilled trades or maintenance teams with a focus on safety and reliability in heavy industrial settings.
- Postsecondary education in a relevant technical field or equivalent industrial maintenance experience.
- Demonstrated history of improving equipment reliability and implementing maintenance best practices using data-driven decision-making.
