About the Role
As a Remote Hospice Triage RN, you will be responsible for assessing patient conditions, providing telephone triage for hospice patients and families, collaborating with on-call teams to coordinate care, and accurately documenting all communications and interventions. You will work in a remote environment, ensuring timely patient care coordination while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor during urgent calls.
About You
Required:
- Active multistate Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Comfortable with technology and electronic medical records (EMR).
- Ability to handle stress and multitask when receiving calls.
Preferred:
- Experience in hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care.
- Ability to type documentation and notes in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits
- Base pay at $25 per hour with potential to earn up to $28 per hour within the first 6 months.
- $1 shift differential for overnights and weekends.
