Summary
Clean Earth is seeking a Plant General Manager Hazwaste to join their team in Tacoma, Washington. The role involves leading a team to drive operational strategies and ensure compliance with environmental health and safety regulations.
About the Role
As the Plant General Manager Hazwaste, you will oversee the operations of a plant, ensuring it meets environmental health and safety, regulatory compliance, production, and waste management goals. You will coach and develop managers, promote safety initiatives, manage budgets, and ensure effective waste processing and shipping operations.
About You
Required:
- Minimum 7 years' experience in related field including experience utilizing plant management software systems.
- Minimum 7 years of proven leadership experience.
- Experience in the hazardous waste industry required.
- Demonstrates knowledge of applicable regulations and codes related to the waste industry.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and standards.
- Experience in formal project management.
- Knowledge of lean management, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
