Summary
Augusta University is seeking a Research Associate to join their team in Augusta, GA. The role involves coordinating research projects aimed at addressing health disparities and managing a hematological malignancies registry.
About the Role
As a Research Associate, you will be responsible for coordinating research studies, monitoring project timelines, collecting and managing patient data, assisting in data analysis, developing research protocols, and preparing scientific manuscripts. This position requires travel to target areas for data collection and may involve overnight stays.
About You
Required:
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university and experience in research, basic science or clinical laboratory particularly clinical trial research.
- OR a Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, cell biology, or related field with a minimum of one year of clinical research and/or clinical experience.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in clinical research, data management, or registry management, preferably in hematology or oncology.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with hematological malignancies or related registries.
- Experience with human subjects training in a clinical research setting.
- Experience in a clinical and/or research setting working with patients.
