PPG is seeking a Research Chemist to join their team in Monroeville, PA. The role involves providing compositional insight for new product development and leading project workstreams for compositional analysis.
About the Role
As a Research Chemist, you will develop Chromatography methods for new products, collaborate on product development, perform GPC, HPLC, and GC analysis, and maintain project schedules while ensuring safety protocols in the lab.
About You
Required:
- Ph.D. in Chemistry, materials science, physics, engineering, or related subject area (Analytical Chemistry preferred) and 0+ years of industrial work experience.
- In-depth understanding of Chromatography techniques.
- Experience implementing Chromatography methods.
Preferred:
- BS with industrial experience with 10 years of experience.
- MS with industrial experience with 5 years of experience.
- Previous experience with advanced data analysis techniques.
- Willingness to travel between sites up to 50% of the time.
