About the Role
As a Research Scientist in Neuromorphic Computing, you will collaborate with top researchers on national scale problems, author proposals, publish findings, and lead research on neuromorphic hardware and spiking neural networks. You will also develop hybrid systems integrating analog/digital architectures with neuroscience-inspired algorithms and implement biologically plausible learning rules on high-performance computing platforms.
About You
Required:
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Neuroscience, or a related field.
- Outstanding publication track record.
- Relevant research experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or data analytics.
- Hands-on experience with the latest artificial intelligence and machine learning libraries.
- Programming experience in C, C++, Java, and/or Python.
- Ability to communicate effectively (both verbal and written).
- 4+ years of experience in VLSI or neuromorphic hardware development.
- Proficiency in spiking neural networks, analog IC design, and deep learning methods.
- Demonstrated ability to work in collaborative research environments and secure research funding.
Preferred:
- Ability to collaborate with a wide range of scientists, engineers, and program managers.
- Experience with high performance computing and novel computing architectures.
