About You
- Currently has or is in the process of obtaining a PhD degree in Physics, Mathematics, Optical Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computational Imaging, Material Sciences or relevant technical field.
- Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
- 2+ years experience in at least two areas of optical research: Fundamental electromagnetics, Wave optics, polarization optics, geometrical optics, Ray tracing, Optical bench top experiments.
- 2+ years experience with wave optics and geometric optics design programs.
- 2+ years experience with experimental optics and conducting laboratory work.
- Experience working and communicating cross functionally in a team environment.
- Proven track record of achieving significant results as demonstrated by grants, fellowships, patents, and first-authored publications at leading conferences.
- Experience with nano-photonics solvers (e.g. RCWA, FDFD) and simulation software (Lumerical, meep, or similar).
- Experience with inverse design for photonic devices.
