About the Role
As a Research Study Participant, you will set up two collection devices in your home for a 7-10 day recording period. These devices will capture video data from your main entrance and living/dining room. You will have the ability to start and stop recordings, review the footage on a provided computer, and approve the final recordings before returning the devices. You are expected to collect and share a minimum of 120 hours of data per device.
About You
Required:
- All household members must be 18 years or older, with no children under 18 living in the home.
- Must be located in the South Bay Area.
- Must be willing to participate in the collection.
- Must be able to set up devices, operate basic controls, and review video clips on the provided computer.
- Sign a participant consent form, including consent from all household members (if applicable).
- Adhere to project guidelines and collection protocols.
- Be able to communicate in English effectively and follow instructions from the study team.
Preferred:
- Ability to care for the devices and ensure they are returned in the same condition as received.
Benefits
- $400 USD for the completion of at least 120 hours of data for the household.
- $50 USD referral bonus for each participant referred who completes the submission of 120 hours of data.
