About the Role
As a Residence Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Individualized Residential Alternatives (IRA) homes or Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) units. This includes supervising Direct Service Professionals (DSPs), ensuring compliance with regulations, maintaining schedules, and providing on-call support. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote health, safety, and individualized care for residents.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 3 years working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a residential or human services setting.
Preferred:
- Associate’s degree in human services or a related field.
- Familiarity with OPWDD and DOH regulations and policies.
- A valid NYS Driver’s License.
- SCIP-R, CPR or AMAP trained and certified.
