Avamere is seeking a Resident Care Manager (RN) to join their team in Shoreline, WA. The role involves overseeing and coordinating resident care, supervising nursing staff, and ensuring high-quality patient care in accordance with facility policies and regulations.
About the Role
As a Resident Care Manager (RN), you will participate in developing care plans for residents, supervise nursing staff, conduct daily rounds, review nursing notes, and assist in discharge planning. You will also delegate tasks, provide direct nursing care, and participate in facility surveys, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
About You
Required:
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
- Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in the state.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
- Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records and computer documentation systems.
- Fluency in English (speak, read, and write).
- Active CPR/BLS certification.
Preferred:
- 1+ years of experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
- Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, laws, and regulations pertaining to nursing care facilities.
