About the Role
As a Residential Counselor, you will be responsible for on-site supervision and support of consumers, including teaching, behavioral modeling, and assisting with daily living activities. You will communicate observations to the treatment team, supervise recreational activities, assist with medication self-administration, and document services provided. Additionally, you will participate in the development of individual habilitation plans and cooperate with inspections and investigations.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in mental health, health, or a related human services discipline, or a license as a registered nurse, or a combination of college and related work/life experience totaling four years.
- At least one year of related work or life experience if the four-year degree does not meet the requirements.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for a minimum of 24 months.
Preferred:
- Experience in case management or direct care services.
- Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques.
