As a Residential Direct Support Professional I, you will be responsible for assisting persons with developmental disabilities, ensuring their needs are met in a respectful and engaging manner. Your duties will include facilitating activities, communicating effectively with individuals and their families, and adhering to policies and regulations related to disability support.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma/GED with a valid driver's license.
- Experience supporting individuals with a range of Intellectual Disabilities, including dual diagnoses and physical disabilities.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with policies, procedures, and regulations regarding individuals with disabilities.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards individuals with disabilities.
