Comcast is seeking a Residential Installation & Service Technician to join their team in Danbury, CT. The role involves broadband installation and troubleshooting activities for voice, video, and data services.
About the Role
As a Residential Installation & Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing installations and changes of service, troubleshooting customer equipment, assessing and designing home networks, and ensuring quality service. You will also engage with customers to educate them on products and services, maintain your vehicle and equipment, and complete necessary training and certifications for career advancement.
About You
Required:
High School Diploma / GED
Ability to lift and carry loads of 70 lbs. or more
Valid driver's license
Preferred:
Experience with broadband installation and troubleshooting
Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC) and National Electric Safety Code (NESC)
Technical knowledge of home networking technologies
