About the Role
As a Residential Specialist, you will be responsible for completing necessary paperwork, answering crisis and business lines, supervising clients, maintaining shelter coverage, and promoting effective use of agency resources. You will also provide support to residents, handle crisis situations, and ensure the safety and security of the shelter environment.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma, or Associates Degree or enrollment in college with a major in sociology, psychology, criminal justice or related field; or appropriate work and/or life experience.
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License and safe driving record.
Preferred:
- Experience in crisis intervention and support services.
- Knowledge of cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of the population served.
