Summary
THOMPSON Child & Family Focus is seeking a Residential Therapist to join their team in Matthews, NC. The role involves providing individual and group therapy, conducting clinical assessments, and developing person-centered plans for youth in a residential facility.
About the Role
As a Residential Therapist, you will work Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, with flexibility to work rotating weekends based on clinical needs. Your responsibilities will include providing therapy, attending team meetings, and monitoring treatment plans for youth aged 0-18 in a trauma-informed environment.
About You
Required:
- Master's degree in a human services related field.
- Associate or provisional license required.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and excellent communication skills.
- Valid Driver's License and ability to meet credentialing standards.
Preferred:
- Experience working with youth and adolescents.
- Provisional or fully licensed to practice therapy in North Carolina.
