About the Role
As a Respiratory Care Practitioner, you will be responsible for administering basic and advanced therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, including arterial blood gases and trauma care. You will function as a resource to RCP I, participate in advanced patient education, and be actively involved in departmental quality programs. Your duties will include patient assessment, developing respiratory care plans, and ensuring quality patient care while adhering to safety and efficiency standards.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Respiratory Care.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or equivalent certification required.
- Current and unrestricted Respiratory Care Practitioner License with the State of Texas.
- BCLS and one of the following: ACLS, PALS, NRP, or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience with at least six months in critical care.
Preferred:
- Experience in advanced patient education.
- Ability to commit to a flexible schedule and adapt to different patient care areas.
