About the Role
As a Respiratory Care Practitioner II, you will perform all respiratory care procedures including oxygen and aerosolized medication delivery, ventilator care, bronchial hygiene therapy, and diagnostic services. You will monitor patient responses to therapies and make recommendations for modifications based on assessments. Responsibilities also include serving as a Charge Therapist, assisting physicians with procedures, conducting therapeutic procedures, and educating patients and families on respiratory care.
About You
Required:
- Current Respiratory Care License in the state of practice.
- National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) credentialed.
- Two years of experience as a Respiratory Care Professional.
- BLS Basic Life Support certification.
- ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree related to Respiratory Therapy or Healthcare.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
- Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT) certification.
- Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT) certification.
- ACCS (Adult Critical Care Specialist) certification.
