About the Role
As a Respiratory Care Practitioner, you will be responsible for conducting patient assessments, implementing treatment plans, and evaluating treatment effectiveness. You will perform respiratory care procedures, maintain documentation, provide patient education, and respond to cardio-pulmonary resuscitations. Collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team is essential to ensure optimal patient care.
About You
Required:
- Current Respiratory Care License in the state of practice.
- National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) credentialed.
Preferred:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
- BLS Basic Life Support or ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support and PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Previous working experience in an ambulatory or acute care setting.
- 6 months Respiratory Therapy experience in a general care area.
- EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) training.
