About the Role
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will administer therapeutic respiratory care procedures, complete necessary documentation for department effectiveness, perform diagnostic respiratory procedures, provide instruction to patients and healthcare team members, and carry out other assigned duties.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an approved respiratory therapy program.
- Pennsylvania state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist, or Temporary Practice Permit (TPP).
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) National Board of Respiratory Care required prior to the expiration of the Temporary Practice Permit (TPP).
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
Preferred:
- Registered with the National Board of Respiratory Care RRT.
- Two years' experience in pulmonary/respiratory medicine in a hospital setting.
