About the Role
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for measuring lung capacity, analyzing blood samples, delivering therapy, monitoring patient conditions, educating patients and families, and maintaining respiratory care supplies. You will also respond to emergencies and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of a Respiratory Care Program of Study for an Advanced Practice Level Respiratory Therapist with an Associate's degree in Science or Certification of Graduation from an applicable discipline.
- Active and valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) upon hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within six (6) months from hire date.
Preferred:
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification.
