About the Role
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for measuring lung capacity, analyzing blood samples, delivering therapy, monitoring patient conditions, and educating patients and families about respiratory illnesses. You will also maintain respiratory care supplies and equipment, and perform preventative maintenance and calibration of machines.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of a Respiratory Care Program of Study for an Advanced Practice Level Respiratory Therapist with an Associate's degree in Science or Certification of Graduation.
- Active and valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) upon hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within six months from hire date.
Preferred:
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification.
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
