About the Role
As a Respiratory Therapist (RT), you will provide high-quality respiratory therapy services for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Your responsibilities include managing acute and chronic respiratory problems, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with a team to ensure quality health services. You will also assist in training new staff and perform other related duties as assigned.
About You
Required:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC.
- Current Ohio state license of active status and without disciplinary action.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy from an AMA-approved school.
- BCLS certification – free training / recertification provided.
Preferred:
- Experience in chronic care and ventilators.
- Knowledge of intellectual and developmental disabilities.
