About the Role

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for monitoring and weaning oxygen therapy and artificial ventilation, drawing and analyzing arterial blood gases and EKGs, and delivering intermittent therapy. You will assist with changing artificial airways and provide services as ordered by a physician, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.

About You

Required:

Associate's Degree in a relevant field.
Current License as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice.
Credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Certified Respiratory Therapist.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification (if working in the NICU).
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Preferred:

Strong analytical skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Windows-style applications and keyboard.
