About the Role
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will perform all respiratory care procedures including oxygen and aerosolized medication delivery, ventilator care, bronchial hygiene therapy, and patient education. You may also serve as the shift Charge Therapist, assist physicians with procedures, conduct pulmonary function tests, and respond to cardio-pulmonary resuscitations. Your responsibilities will include monitoring patient responses to therapies and making recommendations based on assessments.
About You
Required:
- Current Respiratory Care License in the state of practice.
- National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) credentialed.
- Two years of experience as a Respiratory Care Professional.
- BLS Basic Life Support certification.
- ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree related to Respiratory Therapy or Healthcare.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
- Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT) certification.
- Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT) certification.
- ACCS (Adult Critical Care Specialist) certification.
- EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) training.
