About the Role
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, treating, and monitoring patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders. Your daily tasks will include administering therapeutic interventions, managing mechanical ventilation, performing diagnostic tests, and educating patients and families on respiratory care. You will collaborate with physicians and nurses to ensure high-quality care and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
About You
Required:
- Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy.
- Current state licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP).
- Credentialed as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the NBRC.
- BLS certification.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy.
- ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
