Summary
Select Specialty Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist - Full-time Nights to join their team in Richmond, VA. The role involves providing respiratory care to critically ill patients and supporting their recovery process.
About the Role
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will evaluate patients, recommend treatment plans, provide respiratory care, perform endotracheal tube procedures, and promote quality improvement. You will also teach and counsel patients and their families, playing a vital role in their recovery.
About You
Required:
- Active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
- Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
- Current state licensure.
- ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
Preferred:
- One (1) year of related experience.
